Thank you for your letter of January 29, 1988, in response to our letter;of September 14, 1987, providing a summary of the progress made toward identification and correction of persennel occupational exposure data discrepancies at your facility.
We agree with your position of not reporting extremity and skin exposure changes since these are not cumulative. However, we request that you bring to our attention any extremity or skin exposures that, when combined with whole body exposures for the same time period, exceed any 10 CFR Part 20 exposure limits. We also agree with your position of only reporting changes to whole body dose records, to the NRC and the individual, that exceed the minimum threshold for the TLD in use during the exposure period. We expect that you will inform us of any overexposure that, may result from your correction of exposure records.
We have no further questions at this time on your proposed actions.
