f e-4 EVALUATION OF TVA RESOLUTION FOR CAQR SQT 870626
Background
The Startup Action List (SAL) Item 0982 has been signed off as complete based on TVA's resolution for CAQR SQT 870626 concerr.ing the adequacy of conduit support design and installation at Sequoyah Nuclear Pcwer Plant Unit 2.
This evaluation is to address the appropriateness of TVA's decision that the subject CAQR was resolved adequately for the restart.
Evaluation TVA's restart resolution for CAQR SQT 870626 has been evaluated under Item CEB 16 of the Design Calculation Review Program for SQN, "Conduit and HVAC Duct Support Calculations." The staff's findings were sunnarized in NRC Inspection Report No. 50-328/88-12, which con:luded that TVA's restart resolution for CAQR SQT 870626 is acceptable.
Therefore, TVA's decision that CAQR SQT 870626 was resolved adequately for restart at SQN is appropriate.
