e concerning the results of these toets supports euch a conclusion, and that there is no reason to expect any cicnificant change in recctivity coefficients due to the buildap of plutonium which has occurred between 6,000 and 8,000 equivalent full power hours and which will occur before the end of Core I life. /ccordingly, we believe that omission of the next scheck11ed test at 8,000 equivalent full power hours will not significantly affect the safety of operation of the reactor.

Conclusion It is our opinion that Tankee should be authorized to omit the :1 8,000 hour0 days
0 hours
0 weeks
0 months
test with Core I, and that such authorization would y not present significant hazards considerations not described or j implicit in the license application as atended. We have further a concluded that thers is reasonable assuranco that the health and safety of the public would not be endangered by operation of the .

facility as proposed.
