The U. ,S. ' Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the-Commission) is considering

issuance of amendments to Operating License No. DPR-3 issued to the Yankee Atomic. Electric Company (the ' licensee) for operation 'of the Yankee Rowe >

Nuclear Power Station (the facility), located .in Franklin County, Massachusetts, in accordance'with-the licensee's application for amendment and Supplenients 1 and 2 thereto, all dated July 13,1978. The licensee will submit additional -

detailed design information to the Commission for further review.  ;

The proposed amendments would (1) authorize modifications designed to .
