COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION (CPSES) DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 SAFETY ISSUES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REF: C. I. Grimes Letter to W. G. Counsil dated November 6, 1987. Gentlemen: The referenced letter provided TV Electric with a CPSES plant data list relative to the NRC':: Safety Issues Management System (SIMS). The letter requested TV Electric to:

1) Add omitted generic issues applicable to CPSES Units 1 and 2, and
2) Provide the best estimated date that all aspects of each identified issue were completed / implemented or are expected to be completed.

i In regard to the above, attached is the requested information. Separate lists l have been developed for CPSES Units 1 and 2. When reviewing these lists, note the following: o Issues which were added are comprised of the following types: NUREG-0737 (THI-0737); Multi-Plant Action (MPA); and Unresolved Safety Issue (USI). For clarification, a column has been added to indicate the issue type. 1 o Dates for completed / projected actions are listed only under the "IMPL l COMP" column. Other date columns have not been reviewed or updated. o As a clarification, a column has been added to reflect the CPSES number used to identify a particular generic issue. This cross-reference is provided only for the TMI-0737 issues. To the best of our knowledge based on licensing summary information, the attached status is accurate.
