This is in response to your letter dated February 11, 1974, which raises the question of permissibic deviation from minittum frequencies for instru- F4 mentation tests and calibrations and other surv 111ance activitica required in the Technical Specifications for'the Maine Ynnkee, Yankee Rowe, and Vermont Yankee plants.

You indicated that while for Maine Yankee a +25" deviation is stated, the permissible deviation in the surveillance intervals for Yankca Rown  !

and Vermont Yankee would be as interpreted by the inspector from the regionni offico of the Directorate of Regulatory Operations. [ -
