Rhodia, Incorporated License No. 34-14908-01 Based on the inspection conducted on September 12, 1978, it appears that one of your activities was not in accordance with commitments, codes, standards, guides or acceptable practices, as noted below.
Contrary to accepted radiological safety practices, as documented in Report No. 30 of the National Committee on Radiation Protection (National Bureau of Standards Handbook 92, Section 3.4, p. 18), you permitted food to be stored in the same refrigerator where radio-active materials are stored.
Specifically, on September 12, 1978, our inspector observed peaches and melons in the walk-in refrigerator in which licensed material was stored.
