ENFORCEMENT DISCRETION FOR NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT 1, DOCKET N0. 50-338-This letter acknowledges your letter of March 4,1988 requesting relief from Technical Specification 4.0.5, Surveillance Requirements for Inservice Inspection and Testing.
In a telephone conversation on March 11, 1988, you were informed that discretionary enforcement action would be granted to permit continued operation of Unit I with-out shutting down to test containment isolation valve 1-CC-TV-102A for two monthly periods following its last successful test.
It is our understanding that a request for Section XI relief from monthly testing requirements will be submitted promptly.
