The NRC.has published a revision to the guidance for trial NRC requalification examinations. The revisions in this document reflect lessons learned from examinations administered at the H. B. Robinson plant in December,1987.
Additional revisions will be made, as appropriate, based on lessons learned from trial examinations conducted in other regions and from industry feedback.
After the trial program is complete, the final version shall be incorporated into the Examiners Standards (NUREG 1021).
A copy of the revision is being sent to the site training managers only as an enclosure to this letter.
Please direct any questions to the appropriate Region III Operator Licensing Section.
