Dear Sir:
By letter dated August 30, 1985, (Reference (b)) we submitted the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation Semiannual Ef fluent Release Report covering the period beginning January 1, 1985, and ending June 30, 1985, in accordance with our Technical Specification 6.7.c.1. At that time, we stated that the analysis for the second quarter strontium 89 and 90 release values for Table IB had not been completed by our analytical laboratory contractor, and would be included in a supplemental report to be submitted by the end of September 1985. Also to be included in that supplemental report were the *-i estimated doses resulting from measured plant effluents for the first half of 1985, which were being prepared in compliance with Technical Specification 6.7.c.1 which was in effect during the first quarter of this year.
Enclosed herewith please find two copies of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation Semiannual Effluent Release Report which provides the supplementary information we committed to submit and which fully incorporates the previously transmitted report (Reference (b)).
