Notice of receipt of applications for licenses and applications l
for amendments and renewal of licenses for nuclear fuel cycle operations, major research and development activities involving use of radioactive materials, and major radioactive material processors.
SUMMARY
In order to make the public more aware of the various proposed licensing actions that are submitted to the Division of Fuel Cycle and Material Safety, the Division has adopted the practice of placing a notice in the FEDERAL REGISTER upon receipt of an application for a license, major amendment or renewal of a license for nuclear fuel cycle operations or major processing and research and dev opment activities involving radioactive rbaterials.
In order to establish a baseline position, this Notice lists all of the actions of the types indicated above that are cur.rently under considera. tion by the Division, that have not been previously noticed in the FEDERAL REGISTER.
The applications are listed under the licensing branch in the Division that is responsible for the review.
