NRC BULLETIN 87-01, "THINNING OF PIPE WALLS AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS" On Julv 9,1987, NRC Bulletin 87-01 was issued and reouested that licensees submit information concerning their programs for monitoring the thickness of pipe walls in hich-energy single-phasa and two-phase carbon steel piping systens.
Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation provided its response to the Bulletin in letters dated September 11, 198' and December ?4, 1987.
The staff has reviewed your response and concludas that no further plant specific action with respect to NRC Bullatin 87-01 is raquired.
