NRC BULLETIN 87-01, "THINNING 0F PIPE WALLS AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS,"
PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT, UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2.
On July 9,1987, NRC Bulletin 87-01 was issued and. requested that licensees submit information concerning their programs for monitoring the thickness of pipe walls in high-energy single phase and two phase carbon steel piping systems.
Northern States Power Company provided its response to the Bulletin in a letter dated September 9, 1987.
The staff has reviewed your response and concludes that no further plant
. specific action with respect to NRC Bulletin 87-10 is required.
