l The purpose of this letter is to notify the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of a change in the due date for USEC's response to your letter dated February 28,1997, TAC No.s L32009 and L30576, requesting additionalinformation on USEC's request for exclusion of areas within the USEC-leased areas from CAAS

monitoring.
The due date for USEC's response to the NRC RAI is being changed from March 31,1997 to April 7,1997. This delay is necessary to ensure consistency in our response where warranted between the two gaseous diffusion plants.
