. Georgia Power Company (GPC) has made the following changes to its Nuclear Operations organization.
Mr. J. P. O'Reilly has resigned as Senior Vice President.
Assuming his responsibilities is Mr. G.
F.
Head, Senior Vice President.
Hr.
Head has extensive prior experience in nuclear operations, including having been the initial plant manager of GPC's Plant Hatch.
Mr. Head replaces Mr. O'Reilly as the GPC point of contact for NRC correspondence.
The Vice President-Plant Hatch, Mr.
J.
T.
Beckham, and the General Manager-Plant Vogtle, Mr.
G.
Bockhold, will report directly to Mr. Head along with Mr.
E.
H.
Howard, who has been named General Manager-Nuclear Operations Services, with responsibility for the General Office nuclear functions.
The Quality Assurance Department will continue to report to Mr.
H. G. Baker, Senior Executive Vice President.
Mr. Head also reports to Mr.
Baker.
