EMERGENCY PLAN EXERCISE ACENARIO (45 DAY LETTER)
The scenario to be used for the Palisades 1988 annual exercise during February is being transmitted to the Chief, Emergency Preparedness Section hTC Region III for distribution to those NRC persons who will be acting as observers and controllers. Per telephone conversation on December 22, 1987 between JPPatterson of your staff and APKatarsky, radiological and meterological data are not included in this package. These portions will be submitted under separate cover on January 8, 1988.
Comments on the scenario must be submitted to Consumers Power Company's Emergency Planning Contact APKatarsky no later than January 22, 1988 to allow for incorporation into the package and adequate controller preparation.
Changes to the package will be supplied to NRC inspection staff during the exercise entrance eeeting.
After completion of the exercise, a copy of the scenario used will be submitted to the NRC Document Control Desk and the NRC Resident Inspector.
