j The next Systematic Assessment of License Performance (SALP) for the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR) was scheduled to be prepared after October, 1987. However, due to the permanent shutdown of the plant on April 30, 1987, the LACBWR SALP 7 for assessment period July 1986 through October 1987 is being cancelled. The NRC has determined that an assessment of your performance for that period would lack meaning because the plant has terminated operation.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rule of Practice," Part 2, I
t Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
