This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. D. E. Norman and R. V. Azua
of this office during the period January 19-22, 1988, of activities authorized
by NRC Opr% ting License NPF-47 for River Bend Station, and to the discussion
of our findings with you and other members of your staff at the conclusion of
the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included a followup of actions related to

personnel, and observations by the NRC inspectors.
