This is in further response to your letter dated March 6,1978 in which you requested,' pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of all documents regarding (1) the adequacy of EURATOM safeguards; (2) thefts, and diversions of special nuclear material, involving EURATOM countries; o
and (3) the "plumbat incident."
In response to your request copies of the documents without the enclosures listed in Appendix A are being placed in the NRC Public Document Room j
(PDR) located at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC.
The enclosures to the documents listed on Appendix A were originated by the Department of State and have been referred to that agency for appropriate disposition and direct response to you.
We have determined that certain portions of two other memorandums, listed on Appendix B, are within the scope of your request, ar:i those portions are also being placed in the PDR.
