SUBJECT:
OPERATING LICENSE NO. OPR-46 (TAC NO. 66888) TO FA The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.II7 to facility Operating License No. OPR-46 for the Cooper Nuclear Station. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated December 22, 1987, (Change Number 54).
The amendment changes the Technical Specifications to modify the operability-requirements for the Rod Sequence Control system and Rod Worth Minimizer to allow the Banked Position Withdrawal System to be used for rod pattern control between 100% and 50% rod density.
A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed.
Notice of Issuance will be included in the' Commission's Bi-Weekly Federal Register Notice.
