,t The Babcock & Wilcox Company, Commercial Nuclear Fuel Plant in accordance with 10 CFR 70.22(b) and 74.31 is submitting a fevised Fundamental Nuclear Materials Control Plan for your approval.
In addition, we are requesting that.we be granted advance approval for an annual SN?! inventory schedule based cn the information supplied in this Fundamental Nuclear Materials Control Plan submittal.
Our current Fundamental Nuclear Materials Control Plan (Section 5.1. 2) calls for an SN1 inventory at intervals not tc exceed 210 calendar days which means that an inventory must be performed before March 10, 1986.
We would like to be exempted from this requirement and proceed with an annual SNM inventory later on in 1986.
We hope that this request can be granted before the 210 day deadline.
The revised Fundamental Nuclear Materials Control Plan incorporates the appropriate requirements of 10 CFR 74 as deceribed in NCREG-1065, Revisicn 1. All pages of the Fundamental Nuclear Materials Centrol Plan (excluding the Annex) are dated 1-31-86.
Enclosed is a check for $150.00 to cover the initial licensing fee.
