As you are aware.10 CFR 170 of the Comission's regulations for license and inspection fees was revised effective June 20, 1984. Section170.12(b) of the revised rule provides that for applications for permits, licenses, facility reference design approvals, and special projects which have been on file with the Commission for review for six months or longer.

the cost analysis for the Perry 1 and Perry 2 OL application reviews for the period December 23. 1984 through June 22,1985. The costs through that period are $916.579 for Perry 1 and $62.901 for Perry 2.

enclosures show a breakdown of the review costs by program office. When the costs of $916.579 for Perry 1 are added to the costs of $2.976.864 from the two previous billing periods, the cumulative costs of $3.893.443 exceed by $316.043 the maximum fee of $3.077.400 as currently stated in 10 CFR 170.21. Accordingly. $816.043 has been subtracted from the costs of $916,579, leaving a balance due of $100,53G for Perry 1.

of Resource Management has been notified to bill your Company for $100.53G for Perry 1 and $62.901 for Perry 2.
