Dear Mr. Andrews:
ACRS By letter dated November 29, 1985, the Commission issued Amendment No. 92 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1.
The Amendment changed the technical specifications to support the operation of the unit at full rated power during Cycle 10.
As you know, there was one open as a result of our review.
This involved the validation of the Mini-CECOR/BASSS system.
By letter dated February 18, 1986, you stated that the Mini-CECOR/ BASS $ system has been validated and that the system can now be declared operational. We have reviewed your letter and believt. that the results of the check-case comparison between CECOR and mini-CECOR provide proof that mini-CECOR has been properly installed and validated.
Therefore, we agree with your assessment and authorize you to utilize the Mini-CECOR/BASSS system. We consider this open item now closed.
