would allow an extension of time up to the end of the Unit 1 first refueltas to conduct Technical Specification Surveillances on the Engineered Safety Features Actuation System. It was stated that the Unit 1 outage was scheduled to begin in late August. This date has a potential to slip by 2 to 3 weeks. Therefore, it is requested that the extension be applicable until September 28. 1986. This would correspond to an extension of 5 months.

In a supplemental letter dated March 4,1986 it was requested that the Surveillance for the Unit 1 Divider Barrier Seal also be extended by the same amount of time. Flesse be advised that this Surve111snee has been completed. The requested Surveillance extension is no longer necessary and el.a March 4,1986 letter is rescinded.
