Dear Mr. Treby:
I am enclosing a Notice of Deposition of NRC Staff member Robert F. Heishman, Chief of Reactor Construction Programs Branch, Office of Inspection and Enforcement.
During his deposition on March 11, 1986, P. Keshishian identified Mr. Heishman, who approved the CAT inspection report, as having responsibility for the two major areas of concern raised by the CAT inspection group.
These areas are reliance on final walkdowns and management of on-going corrective action programs while ensuring correct performance of current work.
Mr. Heishman's deposition has been scheduled for Monday, March 24, 1986 in Bethesda, prior to the previously noticed depositions of CAT Team members Georgiev and Hooks.
Given the limited scope of the Heishman deposition, Joe Gallo feels that he can complete all three depositions on the 24th.
