Response to the Notice of Violation dated March 21, 1986, in Inspection Report 50-461/86006 (DRSS) and to the Notice of Violation dated April 4, 1986, Inspection Report 50-461/86020 (DRSS).
Dear Mr. Axelson:
This letter is in response to the Notices of Violation in Inspection Reports 50-461/86006 and 50-461/86020. Please see Attachment A to this letter for the details of Illinois Power Company's response concerning the inadequate protection of Safeguards Information documents. Please see Attachment B to this letter for the details of Illinois Power Company's response concerning the inadequate safeguards container.
Illinois Power is currently performing an in-depth analysis of the security system power supply. A separate response addressing the adequacy of the security system power supply will be sent by May 16, 1986.
I trust this response will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
