SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-361/97-10; 50-362/97-10
Dear Mr. Ray:
An NRC inspection was conducted April 21-25,1997, at your San Onofre Nuclear
Generating Station, Units 2 and 3, reactor facilities. The' enclosed report presents the
i
scope and results of that inspection.
The inspection confirmed that the solid radioactive waste management and radioactive
materials transportation programs were implemented properly.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter
and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to discuss
them with you.
