HOPE CREEK MARCH 19, 1986, SITE VISIT Re: Hope Creek Generating Station Unit 1 On behalf of Division of BVR Licensing, NRR, NRC, I want to thank you for allowing project managers and technical staff in the Division to visit Hope Creek Unit 1 and Unit 2 while you were preparing to load fuel in Unit 1.

I know this was a hectic time period for your people and we appreciate the opportunity to see a Mark I containment drywell and torus while they are both in an uncontaminated state as a training exercise. I have been told that the tour was well prepared for and well conducted. In particular, the efforts by Mr. Jack Luzetsky in conducting the tour for one group of project managers was said to be excellent and that he was very knowledgeable I of the units. 1 Again, thank you for your assistance in this training effort for NRC staff.  !
