Docket No. 50-382 OL
Dear Mr. Clements:
In a February 4, 1986, letter, I advised counsel for Joint Intervenors of the Appeal Board's plans concerning the disposition of certain confidential affidavits filed in this proceeding.
Counsel have raised no objections to the Board's proposal.
Accordingly, enclosed here for your custody is one copy of each of three unexpurgated affidavits, identified as JI Exhs.
8, 12, and 27 and submitted to the Appeal Board with Joint Intervenors' Nover6er 8, 1984, motion to reopen.
These affidavits disclose the identities of individuals who wish to remain anonymous and thus should be kept under seal.
See ALAB-812, 22 NRC 5, 17 n.8 (1985).
The other two copies of the affidavits originally filed with the Appeal Board have been destroyed.
Sincerely, O.(
