1 I concur with the Chairman's comments.
While I agree with the spirit of Commissicace Diaz's comments, I do not agree that the staff must come back to the Commission for its approval before implementing improvements in sampling frequencies and better mechanisms for licensee involvement at the end of the SMM process.
If the staff has suggestions for improvements in Commission involvement at the end of the SMM process, it should seek Commission comments on them.
