INTEGRATED PLAN SEMI-ANNUAL UPDATE N0. 4 REVIEW (TAC 60911)

Re: Big Rock Point Plant By Amendment 82, dated February 12, 1986, to the Big Rock Point (the facility) Operating License DPR-6, License Condition (7) was incorporated so as to require Consumers Power Company (CPC) to adhere to the Plan for the Big Rock Point Integrated Assessment, "the Plan".Section V.A., Periodic Updating, requires that semi-annual updates be submitted to the NRC for our review.

By submittal dated February 28, 1986 as revised by letter dated March 4, 1986 and supplemented by letters dated March 19 and 27, 1986, CPC has provided required Plan Update No. 4 The supplemental schedular information letters dated March 19 and 27,1986 were requested by the NRC Pnject Manager.

Our staff has reviewed all of the information provided by CPC for Integrated Plan Update No. 4 and finds the additions and changes to the Plan schedules to be acceptable. Our staff has also noted CPC's timeliness and responsiveness during schedule discussions for Issue A-112, Alternate Rod In.iection; Issue B-032, Emergency Operating Proceoures Upgrade; and in particular, Issues B-005 and B-006, Detailed Control Room Design Review and Safety Parameter Displav System.
