This refers to the performance appraisal conducted by Russell Wise of this office during January 8 - 10, 1986, for the NRC/ State of Colorado Environ-mental Monitoring Cooperative Agreement around Fort St. Vrain reactor site and to the discussion of the appraisal results with you and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the appraisal on January 10, 1986.
Based on the appraisal results, we believe the State of Colorado has the necessary personnel, equipment, and facilities to continue to satisfy the conditions of the agreement. However,_as discussed in the appraisal report, we have several concerns regarding items which did not meet all the conditions of the cooperative agreement and require your attention.
It is my under-standing that the identified concerns either have been or will be addressed in order that the conditions of the cooperative agreement are met. We request that you respond to these concerns in writing indicating actions taken to meet the conditions of the cooperative agreement.
Should you have any questions concerning this appraisal, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
