Dear Dr. Togo:

It has been some time since we last received information concerning the Quadripartite Meeting tentatively scheduled for late October 1997, in Japan. It is our understanding that the German RSK Committee could attend at that time; however, neither the Germans nor the ACRS has received any information on the availability of the French.

We must soon initiate planning and approval for our ACRS members .

to travel to Japan. We also need information on the proposed  !

agenda in order to begin preparing papers for this exchange. The l RSK is planning to develop a proposal for an agenda for the Quadripartite Meeting during the month of April 1997. They will forward their proposal to all sides.

1 I would, therefore, greatly appreciate hearing from you at your j earliest convenience concerning the plans for the Quadripartite i Meeting and the availability of the French for such a meeting.
