Region V intends to fully support our 1986 Emergency Preparedness Exercise.
We will have a Base Team and Site Team responding to the exercise. Our Site Team will not be a full Expanded Activation Site Team (EAST) but all core functions will be manned.
In order to permit the full development and exercise of our functions, we, request that you develop your scenario so that there is a two-hour period between conditions that would require the
-declarction of a Site Area Emergency and these requiring the declaration of a
' General Emergency. F9 also request that the exercise not be terminated for approximately three hours after General Emergency conditions.
Mr. Emilio Garcia of my staff will act as our~ contact for coordinating our participation. He will contact your Emergency Preparedness staff to work out the details of our participation. To assure that none of our players are l
prematurely prepared, all matters related to the scenario details must be referred to Ms. Gail Temple of my staff.
