Dear Mr. Shafer:
Please find enclosed a description of the scope and objectives to be fulfilled during the June 10, 1986' Emergency Preparedness Exercise (Attachment 1).
This letter and Attachment 1 are being submitted in response to Mr. C.
J.
Paperiello's (NRC Region III) letter to Mr. John E. Dolan (AEPSC) dated December 14, 1984 and to I. E.
Revised Emergency Exercise Frequency Rule.
Both the letter and information notice requested that the licensee provide your office with a description of the scope of the exercise and objectives to be fulfilled 75 days prior to the exercise.
In addition, we are providing you with a summarized sequence of events for the June 10, 1986 exercise (Attachment 2).
It is important to note that the June 10, 1986 Annual Exercise will involve partial participation from Berrien County and the State of Michigan emergency response organizations:

Information Notice 85-55, it is our intention to submit the complete exer'cise scenario package with all controller information and simulation data, including plant data, radiation level data, and release rate data, 45 days in advance of the exercise.
