Dear Mr. Starostecki:
On October 9,1984, we submitted our response to violations identified in Inspection Report No. 50-410/84-11. As stated in our response, corrective action for Violation 1 was completed prior to October 9, 1984. The Preventative Action to Violation 1 required revisions to ITT Grinnell's procedures P301X-ITT-G1 and FQCR 4.2-34.
These revisions were to be incorporated by Novenber 15, 1984.
On November 15, 1984, we notified R. A. Gramm of your staff that the revisions to the above procedures had not been completed. The problem stensned from the fact that these procedures were also undergoing general revisions.
Therefore, comments were more extensive than would be expected for revisions required to reflect the specification changes identified in our response to the violation.
On November 16, 1984, Revision 5 to procedure P301X-ITT-G1 was approved.
On December 5, 1984, Revision 3 to procedure FQCR 4.2-34 was approved.
