Gentlemen:

By letter dated April 7,1997 Waterford 3 described a modification to the subject request to correct a format error. The modificatioh deletesi 4.8.1.1.2a.7 and j
j incorporated the 184 day fast start test requirement as a.3.1.1.2d, renumbered the i
subsequent requirements and added a footnote to page 3/4 8-4. The letter provided an attachment of the affected pages to indicate the revised portions. However, the t
attachment did not refle@revious changes that were submitted to the Staff via letters dated March 141997 (WM i 97-0056 and W3F1-97-0057). In addition the footnote added to page 3/4 8-4 contained a typographical error; the word " proceeded" should j
be " preceded".
i Th3 purpose of this letter is to replace the attachment to Waterford 3 subrnittal i
W3F1-97-0067 dated April 7,1997 with the attachment provided herein. This is purely

i an administrative change to correct an oversight and has no affect on the no significant hazards evaluation previously provided.
