J This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated February 21,1997, which acknowledged our letter dated January 6,1997, regarding changes to your training and qualification plan. These changes were forwarded to the Office of Nuclear Reactor i
Regulation for further review.

On the basis of your decision to restore the security handgun qualification course and the ammunition requirements to the security training and qualification plan, as well as, our previous limited review of the changes in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p), no further action by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation or the region is required. However,

implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that the changes j
have not decreased the effectiveness of your security plan.

.The enclosure to your letter contains proprietary information as specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d)(1) and is being withheld from public disclosure.
