The NRC staff and its consultant, Franklin Research Center, are currently i
reviewing yourAppendix R exemption requests made in your letters dated May 23, 1985 and September 24, 1985. The staff's questions are in regard to the above letters as well as your March 29, 1985 transmittal of the Structural Steel Survivability Analysis.
l In order for us to meet our schedule for completion of the Structural Steel portion of Appendix R review for Peach Bottom we request an expedited review of the enclosed questions. We will be contacting you shortly to discuss a response date which may include a NRC/ contractor Peach Bottom site visit.
