REQUEST FOR EXTENSION The Joint Intervenors, Wells Eddleman oro se, and the Emergency Planning Joint Intervenors hereby request extensions of time for filing briers as follows: until January 30 for both the appeal brief due January 22 on emergency planning and safety issues, and the supplemental brief due January 27 or soon thereafter on ocean dumping of low-level radioactive waste. The reasons for this request are the fact that Wells Eddleman has o

been called for jury duty in Durham County on January 20 and has age
{g extensive other work obligations to perform; and John Runkle, mo counsel for the other intervenors is similarly involved in 3g-g E5 numerous hearings and cases. Further, we have had some difficulty S*

grant these extensions of time and state further that Wells Eddleman will provide overnight delivery to the Appeal Board of the ocean dumping supplemental brief if requested.
