SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION PERTAINING TO DOOR, HATCH, AND BLOWOUT PANEL MONITORING HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) hereby
,dbmits for NRC review the attached description of the alternative method for monitoring door, hatch, airlock, and blowout panel status (open/ closed).
This alternative method will be implemented until such time as the Hope Creek Radiation Monitoring System (RMS) Central Radiation Processor (CRP) computer is fully functional (180 days after fuel load).
This submittal is provided pursuant to the conmitment stated in letter from C.A. McNeill (PSE&G) to E. Adensam (NRC) dated December 26, 1985 pertaining to this subject.
In addition, PSE&G notes that this submittal is considered to contain Safeguards Information and as such PSE&G requests that as per the guidelines of 10CFR73.21 " Requirements for the Protection of Safeguards Information" the attached be withheld from public disclosure.
