We have completed a Part 170 fee review of certain a

with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (OfiRR)pplications for review in filed connection with the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station.

The enclosed list reflects each request, any fees paid and the OliRR staff's final fee detemination and action on each. As a result of the final review of these applications, we find that a sum of $2,950 is due the NRC. It is requested that the District remit the $2,950 to this office to complete the Part 170 fee requirements for these applications.

It has been determined that Item 6 on the enclosed list should be exempted from the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170 of March 23, 1978, since the application was approved pursuant to 10 CFR 50.12 and no license amendment was issued. On this basis, we have concluded that an exemption, pursuant to 10 CFR 170.ll(b), from the fee requirements of the March 23,1978 regulations is authorized by law and is hereby granted for the September 22, 1983 application.
