We have completed our review of your responses to Item 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. of Generic Letter 83-28 for Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 & 2.
Our Safety
- Evaluation is enclosed. We_have determined that your position on these issues is acceptable provided you confirm that the Undervoltage Trip Device (UVT) roller rivet-armature clearance is measured with the UVT armature down in the energized position, as recommended in IE Notice No. 85-58. We request you make this confirmation in writing within -30 days from receipt of this letter.
The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements of this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.
