ENGINEERING SERVICES TRIP REPORT 2192 VIST TO C0fiAflCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION DECEMBER 11 - 12, 1985 The purpose of this trip was to audit the walkdown of the unit 2 cable trays which is being performed by TUCGO. A kickoff meeting was held with TUCG0 on December 11. Those in attendance are shown in attachment 1. TUCG0 distributed their current procedures which apply to the unit 2 walkdowns. They briefly explained the' process for unit 2 and the differences between unit 1 and unit 2. A flow chart for unit 2 is shown in attachment 2.. The major difference is that in unit 1 the QC inspector and the

' engineer perform I walkdown together but in unit 2 there is two seperate walkdowns done. One by the engineer before design verification and one by the QC inspetor after design verification. Twenty one supports were chosen for the walkdown.

The following is a list of the supports walked down:

Reactor Building Safegards Building CTH-2-11929 CTH-2-10264 CTH-2-11516 CTH-2-10420 CTH-2-10059 CTH-2-11068 i

Team # 1 Team # 2 Team # 3 Eric Solla R. Lipinski Vic Ferrarini Terry Langowski Jim Dale Chuck Richards Jimmie Duncan William Kattness Denis Mercier (Level III)

A copy of the as-built drawing and procedure was used for the walkdown. Each support was walked down by one of the teams using tolerances given in the TUCG0 procedures. Each time a discrepancy was found the level III inspector would confirm the discrepancy.
