COMPLETION OF REVIEW 0F POST-TRIP PROGRAM AND PROCEDURES -
JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 By letter dated May 21, 1985 we advised you of the completion of our review of Item 1.1 to Generic Letter 83-28. We provided an evaluation including our recomendations described in Sections III.C and III.E of the evaluation.
By letter dated September 6,1985, you provided responses to these recomendation which we have reviewed.
In your letter you addressed the methods and criteria for comparing event infonnation with known or expected plant behavior.
You also provided details showing your systematic safety 1
assessment program used to assess unscheduled reactor trips.
Based on our review of your responses, we conclude that the programs described are acceptable.
No response is required to this letter.
