By letter dated April 26, 1984, the August 1983 " Physical Security Plan, San
_Onofre Units 1, 2 and 3" was approved by the NRC. Also, by letters dated November 27, 1984 through October 29, 1985, Revisions 1 through 3A, 5, and 5A to this Plan were approved by the NRC (Revision 4 to this Plan was disapproved by the NRC on July 25,1985). Revisions 5B and 7 to this Plan, submitted by letters dated November 15, 1985 and November 18, 1985 respectively, are.under NRC review.
The Reference summarized SCE-NRC communications regarding this Plan change, and committed to submission of a 10CFR 50.54(p) revision, when the necessary equipment modifications were completed. The equipment modifications have now been completed as described in the enclosure.
Accordingly, pursuant'to 10CFR 50.54(p), enclosed are six (6) copies of a desc.ription of the changes and of Revision 6 to the August 1983 Physical Security Plan which is notification of the changes. The changes described in
- the enclosure do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of this Plan.
The enclosur antains " Safeguards Information" as specified in 10CFR 73.21 and should u protected against unauthorized disclosure.
