On July 2,1984, Gulf States Utilities Company filed a motion with the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel (ASLBP) to withdraw its application for the ;
River Bend 2 operating license. By Order dated November 20, 1984, the ASLBP terminated the proceeding.
The Comission, under 10 CFR 170, recovers the review costs for withdrawn applications. Accordingly, we have determined the professional staff-hours and contractual services costs expended for the withdrawn operating license application. The cost of the operating license review is $278.860. The enclosure shows a breakdown of the review costs by program office.
- We have notified the NRC's Division of Accounting and Finance to issue a bill to Gulf States Utilities to cover the Comission's review costs for the withdrawn operating license application. When making payment, please make reference to the bill number.
