Docket No. 50-219 Reload Topical Report As discussed in the meeting between GPUN and the NRC on March 13, 1985, please find attached Topical Report 020 entitled; " Methods for the Analysis of Boil-ing Water Reactors Latttice Physics". This report represents the first of four topical reports being forwarded to the NRC for review and approval for e

' use in OCNCS reload licensing. A second topical report on 3-D steady state physics methods is to be completed by the end of the year. The third and fourth reports on reactor kinetics and reactor transient analysis are to be completed by the end of 1986.

It is our intent to conduct in-house analyses for any core related changes to the OCNGS Technical Specifications during Cycle 11 operation and perform the full reload core safety analysis in-house for the Cycle 12 core. The current schedule is for Cycle 11 to operate from October 1986 to April 1988, and Cycle 12 startup to begin in July 1988.

In order to meet these goals, it is re-quested that the NRC complete their review by October 1986 for the physics topicals and September 1987 for the kinetics and transient topicals.
