HCGS SER CONFIRMATORY ISSUE 17 - ISOLATION DEVICES HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Pursuant to closure of HCGS SER Confirmatory Issue 17 and in response to the action item of the NRC/ICSB audit of September 24-26, 1985, enclosed for NRC review are the following test reports (see Attachment 1):

CPI Test Report No. TR-CPIMDLDM-1 o
Wyle Test Report No. 47679-01 o
Wyle Test Report No. 47950-01 o
GA Technologies Test Report No. E-255-1333 provides a revision to HCGS FSAR Ouestion/
Respanse 421.13 regarding isolation devices.
This revision will be included in Amendment 14 to the HCGS FSAR.
The attached information is provided to confirm successful completion of tests and the adequacy of the isolators used in the Hope Creek design.
This completes our response to SER Confirmatory Issue 17.
