DISCLOSURE OF PROPRIETARY INFORMATION-HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 The purpose of this correspondence is.to inform the NRC that General Atomics (GA) Technologies, Test Report No.

E-255-1333 pertaining to Electrical Testing of Isolation Devices for Digital Radi'ation Monitoring Systems as trans-mitted in letter from'R.L. Mittl (PSE&G) to W. Butler (NRC) dated November 22, 1985 contains GA Technologies proprietary information of such a nature as to cause substantial harm to the competitive position of GA if publicly disclosed.

This report was transmitted to the NRC for review as part of the PSE&G response to confirmatory issue C-17 " Isolation Devices".

Considering the above and based upon the conversation of December 6, 1985 between Mr. M.

Sullivan of PSE&G and Mr.

G.

Lewis of GA; PSE&G hereby requests on behalf of GA that the subject test report be withheld from public disclosure as per the guidelines presented in 10CFR2.790.

In addition,

PSE&G notes that discussions with GA indicate that the

. test report can be copied and distributed within the NRC for the express purpose of supporting the staff's review of the aforementioned submittal.
